All participants of our first HEdIS Summer School “Innovative IoT for Sustainable Citizen” are supposed to participate in the virtual pre-module. Each confirmed participant got an invite to the Summer School platform, on which the participants of the Summer School find preparing ressources and pre-module assignments,  and are supposed to work through the four themes the Internet of Things, Water, Mobility and Energy. Assignments have to be uploaded and quizzes have to be conducted before the start of the Summer School.

Our first Summer School will kick-off with a welcoming event for all participants at Summerstrand Hotel, in Port Elizabeth on 22 November. In a week’s time, students, industry partners, project partners and experts come together to discuss about the Internet of Things and come up with sustainable IoT Solutions in the field of water, mobility and energy at Nelson Mandela University, in Port Elizabeth.
