On 21st March 2017, Dr. Brenda Scholtz (Head of Deparment Computing Sciences at Nelson Mandela University (NMU), Port Elizabeth, South Africa) gave a guest lecture about international university collaboration and academic writing. Her lecture took place at VLBA department of Carl von Ossietzky University of Oldenburg. Dr. Scholtz leads HEdIS project from the side of NMU. Dr. Scholtz gave interesting insights into the differents aspects of academic writing. In addition to the very interesting lecture, discussions and planning about further HEDIS project activities have been carried out.
